Ballet Class

Eliana getting ready for ballet class.

Eliana has ballet class every Saturday morning in preparation for "The Nutcracker" where she will be a Sugar Plum Fairy with the ballerinas from her class.

Some highlights from Eliana's class. 

The ballerinas go to each flower, touch the flower with their wand, then do a little spin.

Nana came to see Eliana's practice. Sorry, this lens has such  a shallow depth of field. Still learning how to use this lens.

Feels Like Fall

Picked up Eliana and Evan from school today and it's finally starting to feel like fall outside. The leaves have changed, the air is crisp and cool, and the leaves are slowly starting to fall. 

Evan looks like a proper little English boy here. That's Eliana's proud face. I tried to fix her hair, but the wind blew it.

Jolie's 5th Birthday Party

Evan and Eliana went to their friend Jolie's birthday party this weekend at Freedom Playground in Havertown, PA. The weather was picture perfect and all the kids had a blast. Evan went to Preschool with Jolie last year, and now Eliana goes to preschool with Jolie's younger sister, Aisley.

I tried to explain to Evan, "That's how girls show they like you, they tackle you and try to beat you up." I don't think he quite understood.

Tee Ball Sunday

Coach Nikki was out sick on Sunday, so me and some of the other fathers ran the tee ball practice and scrimmage. I ran a drill where the kids had to line up in the infield, I rolled each of them at the front of the line a ground ball. They had to scoop it up and throw it to first base. They did pretty good. We did a couple of rounds of that, then went right into a scrimmage. Evan had a couple of really great hits, he really drills the ball off the tee into the outfield. Towards the end of the 2nd inning, kids were starting to stare at the ground and play in the dirt, so I knew we were losing their attention span, but we did manage to get a solid hour of practice in.
