Father's Day

I couldn't ask for more.

I got to spend the entire day with my son on Father's Day. I know he doesn't realize it yet, but it meant the world to me. I feel as though I've waited my whole life for this. Ever since I was a kid, I wondered what I'd say to my son, and how I'd explain the world to him, now is my chance. I want to make the most of it, everyday. I want to be the best dad I can possibly be. Tonight, while holding him on the couch, he laid his head down on me, and I felt complete. For the first time in a long time I felt peace in my heart.
