Hey There!

Ahh, February 21st, yes, that was awhile ago. Did I mention we got a bounce house? As you can imagine, the kids are thrilled. Luckily, we had a rather warm February, so the kids go to get some use out of it.

Happenings.

February is always a quiet month, not a lot to do since it's the coldest time of the year, so we have to get creative. This is Evan and I playing what he calls "Bad Guys." 

Evan and I engaging in a night time lightsaber duel. Evan clearly has the edge with the Darth Maul dual lightsaber. He insisted we turn the lights out for maximum coolness.

This Lego star base that Evan and I made is currently under construction. We used the restaurant from the Spongebob Squarepants Lego set.

We got some Dunkin Donuts after Eliana's birthday as a special treat. They were still making the Valentine's heart shaped donuts.

We blew out some more candles yesterday for Eliana's actual birthday and she got to open lots of presents!

We had a very small but fun 2nd Birthday Party for Eliana yesterday.

Brunch Bunch

First rule of Brunch Bunch? Don't talk about Brunch Bunch!

Evan stayed on late at school last week so that he could be in the "Brunch Bunch." The kids that stay after class to enjoy lunch at school. So it was Evan's longest day of school so far, from 9:30am-2pm. Whenever I pick up Evan at school, I always ask what he did as school that day, and he never wants to tell me! "I don't know Dad, I don't want to talk about it." Maybe it's some kind of secret society, like "Fight Club" and he's sworn to secrecy.

I was home watching Eliana this morning while Evan was at school. While I was on the computer, she quiet snuck upstairs to her room. A little while later, I went up to check on her, and this is what I found. 

She had her drawers open and was trying on sunglasses.
