Evan met the Easter Bunny for the first time today! I wasn't sure how this meeting was going to go, the line was long and Evan hadn't taken his afternoon nap. But luckily the Easter Bunny set up camp right in front of the fountain, so this distracted Evan for quite a bit. He also checked out all the other kids and babies and smiled at all the girls. Then he started showing off by walking around, everyone around us was impressed, "how old is he?" they all asked- "10 months old" I said proudly. And then they turned to their babies and said, "you're 10 months old, why aren't you walking like that?" The wait didn't seem that long after all. And when we got closer to the Easter Bunny Evan got so excited, and didn't want to wait his turn. He kept trying to walk over to the Easter Bunny, he was pointing at him and laughing and waving his little arm so hard to say hello! And when it was finally his turn he sat on the Bunny's lap like a good little boy and gave his best smile. After the pictures were taken Evan waved bye-bye to the bunny and off to the Disney store we went to check out Mickey Mouse. He had such a good time, that I feel like taking him to visit the bunny again, if only those pictures weren't so darn expensive! - Mommy
