Recent iPhone Pics

Genevieve and I send pictures of the kids back and forth to one another when one or the other is working. Here's some random photos from the last few weeks.

Eliana in her new car! Sent from Mommy to Daddy.

Eliana just looking incredibly cute. Sent from Mommy to Daddy.

Photo to illustrate how good Evan and Eliana were being during breakfast. It's not easy to get them to sit down at the table together at breakfast and actually eat. Not easy for me at least, but I did it! sent from Daddy to Mommy

Photo showing how nice Evan and Eliana are getting along in the bathtub. Actually Evan is squirting Evan here with a a squirt toy. She doesn't look amused. Sent from Daddy to Mommy.

Feels Like SUMMER!

With temperatures in the 80s over the past few days, it's beginning to feel like we've skipped Spring all together. Not that anyone here is complaining! Evan and Eliana have been wearing themselves out going outside and and making the most of every minute of the warmer than usual weather. It's been a long, miserable Winter, and they're so happy to be outside!

Ready to Go Somewhere

Eliana must be thinking about going to visit her Nan in Florida, because she keeps climbing into Nan's suitcase.

Fun With Paint

It was so nice out on Easter Sunday, that I thought it would be a great idea to let the kids paint their bird houses. It started out nice enough, but got a little messy...

Easter Sunday

Evan got a Big Wheel for Easter, but Eliana's already staked claim to it.

Happy Easter!

Yes, another classic photo with Evan and Eliana. We waited in line at the mall for nearly an hour. Eliana was fine until the second she hit the Easter Bunny's lap. Evan gave his best smile, he's a pro at this now. Eliana was not harmed by the Easter Bunny, and was fine a few minutes later. I'm up at 5am putting the finishing touches on a Big Wheel that I had to assemble for Evan's Easter present. Mommy stayed up late and loaded up all the eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt, and finished their baskets. If they only knew how late we stayed up doing this stuff!

Summer Preview?

It sure felt like summer on Wednesday. Reached 82 degrees in Philly, and we tried to take advantage of every minute of it by having the kids play outside. Evan and I were out until well after dark with his glow in the dark ball. We had some fun pushing Eliana back and forth in her Little Tikes car. (Probably not the recommended usage for this car, I know, but we've practiced this quite a few times, we're professionals. (Sort of.)

Evan's Sunflower

Evan planted his very own Sunflowers a few weeks ago.

Evan's hoping it grows as big as "Jack and the Beanstalk," he said. Yesterday we found a tiny tree growing in the cracks between the bricks in the backyard. We planted that in a cup to and Evan's going to take care of it and watch it grow. We also planted a baby cactus, one for Evan and one for Eliana.

WINTA IS OVA!

Winta is ova! is what Evan declared after a long fun day outside in the warm sunshine.

Eliana was thrilled to be out of the house, but she was not going to leave the house without her juice cup and cheese stick!

Enjoying the flowers (and her cheese stick).

Eliana is so snack conscious that she even makes sure that Evan is getting his snacks and juice.

This picture is blurry but I love the look she's giving. She might not be able to talk, but boy can she speak volumes with just a twitch of the eye.

Evan notices bugs after cleaning up some spilled juice on the path with a wipe. I wish he would clean up like this more often INSIDE! oh well.

Mommy: "Evan, you are too close to the street, stay where I can see you!"
Evan: "You can see my butt!"

"But Mommy, I NEED to go in the street. The only puddle is in the street and I can't reach it, see?"

"Oh, wait, I forgot to put the fluff on" And picks up a giant "itchy ball" and makes his own version of a dandelion.

Eliana determined not to let Evan have this giant red ball. Evan determined to get it back. Then a minute or two after Evan fell onto the grass crying Eliana walked over to him and gave him the ball. So in the end it all worked out, Evan was satisfied with getting his ball back and Eliana was satisfied in driving him to tears.

(Evan deciding what to do with the two crackers his Nana just gave him. He licks all the salt off of one of the crackers and hands it to me and says "Here Mom, here's a cracker for you." At least he's sharing?)
