EVAN AUSTIN BURKE!

Little Evan Austin was born tonight via emergency c-section at 6:33PM, weighing in at 7lbs 14oz, and 21 inches in length. It was the most insanely beautiful moment of our lives. It was a really overwhelming experience. I'll write more about it later. Right now I'm just hanging out with mom and baby Evan right now in the recovery room, making phone calls and just enjoying being with him. Mom is doing fine now. We're all just relieved that he's here and doing well. This is amazing, I've never been so happy. Thanks everyone for following the blog and supporting us over the last couple of days. Just wanted to let everyone know...

Love,

Dad

Pete and Gen,

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Welcome Evan Austin Burke – what a great name!! Glad to hear Gen is doing well after a long, long night. We were exhausted just checking the blog all night waiting for the news. Pete sounded like he was fatigued and wide awake at the same time when he called. What a great day for the whole family.

Congratulations to all three of you!! That would be Mom, Dad and Evan… WOUNDERFUL!

Love,

Paul, Shari, Michael, Michele and Christopher

It was wonderful to be able to keep in touch with you and Gen...Then see the baby two minutes after he was born...FANTASTIC!!..And then to see so many wonderful pictures of him..He's a sweetheart..It must've been great for you to have family and friends checking on line all the time waiting with you,so to speak, for your wonderful bundle of joy....Just wish we could've been there in person, but I came as close as I could..by staying in touch with you....It was nice to talk to Gen,before you left the hospital...CONGRATULATIONS!!ONCE AGAIN..ENJOY YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY,AND STAY HAPPY...MomXXx...
