As you can see, the earthquake wasn't strong enough to divert the kids' attention from Peppa Pig on Nick Jr. I however, felt it. I could see the kitchen door swinging back and forth and at first I thought the washing machine in the basement was off balance. But as it got louder, I realized it was an earthquake. It wasn't until I checked in on Facebook that I realized how far spread the earthquake was. The earthquake measured 5.8 on the Richter Scale, and I have a feeling you may have heard about it on the news.
